Does TeamLedger process payments?
No. We're a record-keeping ledger, not a payment processor. Parents pay you directly via cash, check, Venmo, or Zelle; you record what came in. No card fees, no PCI scope, no settlement waits.
Can parents log in to see their balance?
No. Parents receive email and SMS reminders with the player's name, current balance, and itemised outstanding charges. Keeping them in their inbox, instead of another account to remember, is a deliberate v1 choice.
Is there a free trial for Pro?
Yes, 30 days, no credit card required. If you don't convert, your team automatically downgrades to Free and keeps every record intact.
What happens to my data if I downgrade from Pro?
Every record stays. You lose access to Pro-only features, SMS reminders, audit-trail CSV export, emailable per-player statements, the bulk-reminders button, but every player, payment, event, and ledger entry remains exactly where it was.
My league has 5 teams, what tier do we need?
League tier. It's the only tier that supports multiple active teams under one organisation, with cross-team reporting and a single billing relationship. Reach out via the Contact page for a quote sized to your roster count.
Do you support international (non-US) teams?
MVP is US-focused: USD pricing, US time zones, and US-format phone numbers for SMS. If you're outside the US and want to talk about a future fit, reach out, we'd like to hear from you, but we won't oversell what's in the box today.
